On 5 November 2026, ファストドクター announced that its home healthcare support business for medical institutions would change from ファストドクター to 学研メディカルコンサルティング, a group company of 学研ホールディングス. The transfer is expected to include contractual relationships with supported medical institutions, as well as staff, systems and operational know-how.
The business primarily supports home healthcare and has provided home-visit services in which physicians who do not work at the institution on a day-to-day basis are engaged for on-call coverage at night and on holidays, home visits and end-of-life care. ファストドクター said it will continue providing the home healthcare support services currently in use after the transfer.
Details of the contractual relationships and future operations will be communicated individually to the medical institutions receiving support. The impact of the change in operating entity is expected to be handled on an individual basis.
