Dai-ichi Life and Benefit One have entered into a business alliance with Leafea and will begin offering Benefit One Life Plus powered by Leafea as the first initiative on 1 December 2026. The companies aim to support small and medium-sized enterprises nationwide and expand employee benefits.
Dai-ichi Life, Benefit One and Leafea announced that they have entered into a business alliance aimed at regional revitalization and support for small and medium-sized enterprises. As the first initiative under the alliance, they will launch a new option, "Benefit One Life Plus powered by Leafea," which integrates Leafea's services into Benefit Station. The launch date is 1 December 2026.
The collaboration, titled the "Project to Support Working People Nationwide," will combine Dai-ichi Life's network of approximately 1,000 locations and 37,000 people, Benefit One's employee benefits platform and Leafea's daily-life support services to (1) strengthen employee benefits services through joint development and provision, (2) accelerate provision to small and medium-sized enterprises by leveraging sales channels and regional networks, and (3) promote regional revitalization and usage through collaboration with local businesses and stores.
Leafea primarily provides discount services that are convenient for everyday use, including at convenience stores, and is developing services in regional areas in collaboration with regional financial institutions. The new option will be added to Benefit Station's lineup, expanding employee benefits for daily living, including discounts of up to 10% at convenience stores nationwide.
Dai-ichi Life also issued a news release dated the same day in connection with this matter, and the 3 companies stated that they will continue working to revitalize local communities and expand life-support services.
