Market participants appeared to buy the stock after the company announced that it had raised its consolidated earnings forecast for the fiscal year ending March 2027 and increased its interim dividend. The closing price was ¥1,259, up ¥187 from the previous day.
Under the new forecast, revenue was raised from ¥29.6 billion to ¥31.2 billion, an 11.4% increase from the previous fiscal year, while operating profit was raised from ¥2.7 billion to ¥3.0 billion, an 18.6% increase. The interim dividend was increased from the previous ¥10 to ¥12.5, while the year-end dividend was kept unchanged at the previous ¥14. The changes were said to reflect strong performance in both segments.
First-quarter results for April-June 2026 showed revenue of ¥7.364 billion, up 21.0% year on year, and operating profit of ¥628 million, 2.1 times the year-earlier level.
