ウエストHD will expand the installation of rooftop solar power generation facilities at facilities managed by a Mitsui & Co.-affiliated real estate asset manager. A framework for energy management at properties managed by the Mitsui & Co. Group will also be considered.
ウエストホールディングス(HD)has indicated that it plans to increase the installation of rooftop solar power generation facilities at properties managed by a Mitsui & Co.-affiliated real estate asset manager. The aim appears to be to make it easier to introduce renewable energy at facilities whose ownership is unclear.
The two companies plan to expand the use of renewable energy at properties covered by real estate asset management operations by working together to promote the installation of solar power generation facilities. The target facilities are properties managed by a real estate asset manager, and the difficulty of identifying their owners and investors is also an issue.
The reported plan is to expand installations by March 2028 at facilities managed on behalf of owners and investors by 三井物産リアルティ・マネジメント, a real estate asset manager of the Mitsui & Co. Group. This could lead to greater use of surplus electricity and expanded facility installations.
The scope also includes a framework under which JERA Cross manages surplus electricity, and related energy management initiatives are expected to take more concrete shape going forward.
