The DX business returned to profitability. As the Shopify market grows, the business operates across two areas: app development for Shopify and site construction. The company said that semi-custom projects for major clients have recently increased.
In terms of implementation results, the number of companies served annually by the site construction team has increased from around 20 to 30. The cumulative number of companies adopting its apps has exceeded 1,000, and approximately half of the stores on Shopify Plus use proprietary apps such as CRM PLUS on LINE.
The company’s strategy going forward is to focus on building a lean organization suited to the AI era, rather than simply expanding in scale. It said it would accelerate the delivery of value through AI integration by leveraging data asset creation and structuring.
