スカイドライブ, a Japanese flying-car manufacturer, has signed memorandums of understanding with 6 Singaporean technology companies covering joint research and development and technology validation. The company aims to accelerate technology development with overseas markets in mind.
The 6 partners are Accuron Technologies, Heron Airbridge, HOPE Technik, KVI, Neo Aeronautics and Volt14 Solutions. They will consider validating core flying-car technologies including advanced manufacturing, batteries, prototyping and validation, and flight operations management systems.
The companies are expected to undertake roles including integrated molding for component manufacturing, air traffic control and flight operations management systems, prototyping and validation of experimental components and airframes, battery control software, support for demonstration testing, and evaluation of next-generation battery technologies.
Alongside manufacturing and commercializing aircraft in Japan, スカイドライブ plans to advance technology partnerships by positioning Singapore as a strategic hub for the Southeast Asian market. Discussions toward specific joint research and development and final agreements will continue.
