KAONAVI, INC.’s CEO discusses the concept of Talent Intelligence in the AI era and introduces the framework the company proposes for democratizing decision-making. Built on data accumulated from more than 4,500 companies, the article outlines the prospects for solutions that transform data use into forward-looking decision-making.
Talent management systems that centrally manage human resources data have become widespread, but concerns remain that data accumulation and data use are disconnected. KAONAVI, INC. representative Sato Hiroyuki (佐藤寛之) explained how the company is working to bridge this gap through a new AI-powered concept, “Talent Intelligence.” Rather than simply accumulating historical data, Talent Intelligence aims to support management decision-making by using external data as well to suggest future-oriented decisions.
“Talent Intelligence” is defined not as a replacement for talent management, but as its evolution: using AI to transform accumulated data into insight. It envisions a world in which the benefits of data use extend to frontline managers and employees. Examples include AI agents providing suggestions on internal career paths and delivering analysis before one-on-one meetings, helping improve the quality of decision-making.
Through the adoption of Talent Intelligence, KAONAVI, INC. aims to create an environment that enables more precise succession planning and talent allocation. The company is developing a framework to provide executives with hands-on support for decision-making based on HR data, and proposes operating the cycle of data accumulation and use as a virtuous cycle called the “Infinite Model.” A solution designed to deliver Talent Intelligence is scheduled for release in October 2026.
