グロービング has announced a medium- to long-term strategy aimed at growth through three pillars: JI×AI-X at its core, combined with AI-PF and investment and M&A. It is targeting revenue of ¥120 billion for the fiscal year ending May 2031, and from 2032 onward plans to increase the weighting of AI-PF and investment while also considering overseas expansion.
The company has outlined a medium- to long-term growth strategy combining JI-style consulting with AI-X, AI-PF, and investment and M&A as three business pillars. The strategy is intended to accelerate growth while reducing reliance on human resources. Under its GoFor2031/Vision2040 concept, the company aims to provide customer companies with a management operating system centered on these three businesses, creating a cycle in which capital and industry expertise contribute to increasing the value of companies acquired through M&A.
As specific targets for the fiscal year ending May 2031, the company plans to increase consolidated revenue from ¥11.5 billion to ¥120 billion, with AI-related revenue accounting for at least 70% of total revenue. JI×AI-X, the foundation of the business, is expected to achieve a 35% compound annual growth rate. AI-PF is projected to generate revenue of ¥4 billion with a 50% operating margin. In investment and M&A, the company plans to pursue a series of acquisitions and integrations of AI-related companies, targeting revenue of ¥60 billion for the fiscal year ending May 2031.
From 2032 onward, the company plans to increase the weighting of its AI-PF and investment businesses and expand its target sectors in Japan to include manufacturing, traditional crafts, food and agriculture, and tourism and hospitality.
Regarding the conversion to a holding company structure, the company plans to transition to the new structure on 1 December 2026, subject to approval at the annual general meeting of shareholders scheduled for 27 August 2026. The consulting and AI businesses will be transferred to newly established operating companies, while the holding company will be responsible for strategy, resource allocation, and governance.
In its growth strategy for the consulting business, the company emphasizes the value of JI talent and industry expertise even as AI-driven substitution advances. Through an integrated JI×AI-X delivery model, it is targeting annual growth of 35% through the fiscal year ending May 2031 and 20% annually through around 2040. The company has set a target of 800 employees, including personnel supporting global expansion, and revenue of ¥50 billion.
