The PET LOVERS Festival will be held at the Matsumoto Yoshikawa store on 17 October, with the support of Matsumoto City. A wide range of activities is planned, including a pet adoption event, disaster preparedness for pets, pet training consultations, and a market.
綿半ホールディングス announced that it had signed an agreement with Matsumoto City on 30 September to cooperate in promoting animal welfare, and that, as the first project supported by Matsumoto City, it would hold the PET LOVERS Festival on 17 October.
The event will feature a range of activities, including a pet adoption event, a booth introducing pet care management during disasters, a section offering experiences and consultations related to pet-related careers, a market and food trucks where visitors can enjoy time with their pets, and a photo session.
Visitors who spend at least ¥3,000 will be eligible for a benefit allowing them to grab pet-food samples, subject to availability. The event will be held at the Matsumoto Yoshikawa store from 10:00 to 16:00 on 17 October. It will be hosted by the Watahan Supercenter Matsumoto Yoshikawa store, supported by Matsumoto City, with Nyantomo-sha, the Matsumoto Public Health Center, and Shinshu Matsumoto Animal Vocational School listed as cooperating organizations.
