Hajime (ハジメ), 42, of the comedy duo Forein Love, established a company specializing in termite control four years ago and became its president. He said he is still carrying out fieldwork in his fourth year, and indicated his intention to hold seminars and pursue other activities to promote termite-control measures using boric acid.
Hajime (ハジメ) of the comedy duo Forein Love revealed on a BS TV Tokyo program that he had established ICOLA Co., Ltd., a company specializing in termite control, four years earlier, and had become its president. He looked back on his career and introduced how he started the business and what he is doing now.
Regarding his policy of carrying out fieldwork alongside his duties as president, Hajime (ハジメ) said, “I’m still doing fieldwork in my fourth year,” explaining that licensing requirements mean he needs to go out to job sites himself. The company has no construction workers, so the current arrangement, in which he handles jobs together with someone who holds the required license, remains in place.
Looking ahead, he said he wants to draw on his field experience to promote termite-control measures using boric acid, and that he has begun receiving offers to give lectures and seminars. He spoke specifically about his plans to expand the business.
