Shenzhen-based JAVA BIKE is beginning its full-scale rollout in the Japanese market and introducing the NEO3 (Neo 3), a 16-inch three-fold folding bike as its first model in Japan. CAMP is the brand's Japanese import distributor. Since its founding in 2002, the brand has marketed its products around the world. The launch is positioned as an initiative aimed at expanding its presence in the Japanese market.
The NEO3's key feature is its patented Coaxial Pivot System, which aligns the rear frame's pivot center with the bottom bracket axis. This limits disruption to the chainline when the bike is folded and maintains chain tension without using a chain tensioner. The design is intended to prevent chain derailment when folded while providing greater flexibility for customization.
The lineup consists of 2 16-inch models, an aluminum version and a carbon version. The aluminum NEO3 16inch 349AL weighs approximately 9.8 kg and is equipped with a 9-speed Shimano SORA drivetrain and hydraulic disc brakes. It is priced at ¥109,780. The carbon 349CB weighs approximately 8.6 kg, comes with a carbon seatpost and is priced at ¥244,920. Both models feature a 73 mm threaded bottom bracket, 16-inch wheels and flat-mount hydraulic disc brakes.
