HUGO BOSS cut its 2026 full-year outlook. The EBIT outlook was lowered due to softer consumer demand and higher depreciation expense for IT assets.
2026 full-year revenue after currency adjustments has been revised to a high-single-digit decline, down from the previous forecast of a low- to high-single-digit decline. EBIT was cut from €300 million–€350 million to €250 million–€300 million, mainly due to softer consumer demand and higher non-cash depreciation expense related to AI and IT.
Q3 revenue was €946 million, down 5% year on year after currency adjustments, and down 4% from €989 million in the year-earlier quarter in group currency terms. The gross margin rose to 63.3% due in part to improved sourcing efficiency, but higher administrative expenses more than offset savings in selling and marketing expenses. EBIT fell to €81 million, and the EBIT margin declined to 8.6%.
The company also indicated changes to capital expenditure and its capital structure. TNWC is expected to be approximately 21% of group revenue, while capital expenditure as a percentage of sales is expected to rise to 4%–5%. The changes reflect a review of leased assets, including the acquisition of logistics facilities.
