The Redmi Watch 6 Lite and 6 Active are reportedly listed on a Hungarian price-comparison site and retail-store pages, with the Lite measuring 9.9mm thick, offering up to 18 days of battery life, and prices disclosed for both the Lite and Active. An official launch in Japan remains undecided.
Overseas media have reported that the Redmi Watch 6 Lite and Redmi Watch 6 Active have appeared on the Hungarian price-comparison site árukereső and on a retail-store page. It is said to be common for products to appear in retailers' systems shortly before launch, while the release date and specifications may still change.
The Lite is reported to feature a 1.96-inch OLED display with 410×502 resolution, a 39.4×44.5×9.9mm body, a 470mAh battery offering up to 18 days of battery life, and 5ATM water resistance. Its sensors are said to include heart-rate, SpO₂, stress, accelerometer, compass and ambient-light sensors, with the possibility that GPS is also built in. Charging uses a proprietary connector, and given the power consumption involved in GPS use, the maximum 18-day figure may not assume GPS is enabled.
The information available on the Active indicates a 1.85-inch OLED display with 390×450 resolution, a 470mAh battery, more than 140 sports modes and no built-in GPS. Information on display size and some features compared with the Lite is based mainly on the initial report, and the product has yet to be officially announced.
The newly reported prices are approximately €45 for the Active and approximately €70 for the Lite, representing a wider gap from the expected prices reported in July. One analysis also places the Lite at roughly two-thirds the price of the standard Redmi Watch 6, depending on whether NFC is included, while the Active would be priced at less than half that level.
There has been no official announcement regarding availability in Japan at this point, and further information is awaited following the formal launch.
