Toyota Gosei's consolidated results for the April–September 2026 period showed revenue of ¥608.1 billion, an increase of ¥72.4 billion, or +13.5%, year on year, while operating profit was ¥38.2 billion, up ¥5.2 billion, or +16.1%. Interim profit was ¥26.9 billion, down ¥700 million, or -2.8%, year on year, while profit before tax was ¥38.5 billion, up ¥2.8 billion, or +8.1%, showing a divergence between the measures. The impact of foreign exchange movements is included among the factors relative to the assumptions made at the beginning of the period.
Factors behind the increase in profit included the effect of higher sales volumes and cost improvements, with contributions reported by region, including Japan, the Americas, China and Asia. Japan contributed ¥10.1 billion through higher sales volumes and cost improvements, while the Americas contributed ¥16.0 billion. India saw a decline in profit due to higher fixed costs and the impact of salary increases. In contrast, operating profit in China recovered significantly through cost improvements and fixed-cost reductions despite lower sales.
