Gurunavi announced that it will release “Sync Vibes,” a new feature for its next-generation restaurant experience app “UMAME!,” on 1 October 2026. Individual AI agents work together to consolidate the preferences of the entire group and recommend the best restaurant.
The new “Sync Vibes” feature links and integrates each participant’s AI agent to select a restaurant based on the group’s mood, purpose and budget. This enables recommendations that reflect everyone’s preferences, which was difficult with conventional individual searches.
To use the feature, users set their mood, purpose and specific preferences in the app, then invite members registered as friends in advance. The AI integrates their preferences in the background, presents candidate restaurants with match scores, and determines the final restaurant through voting.
Another feature is its integration with official collections. The AI recommends the best restaurant from 5 themed collections for the Tokyo area selected by Gurunavi. Expansion to areas nationwide is planned in stages.
Going forward, the company said it will develop the service to evolve from AI that understands individual preferences into group-optimization AI that connects people, while also considering integration with external AI agents.
