Taste of KOBE-AWAJI Island 2026, an event where around 10 chefs from Kobe and Awaji Island will each serve a dish made with seasonal local ingredients, will be held on 28 November at Craft Circus, a seaside restaurant and market on Awaji Island. The event will showcase the appeal of local food culture through dishes featuring local ingredients and a market.
Taste of KOBE-AWAJI Island 2026, an event bringing together around 10 chefs active in Kobe and Awaji Island to serve dishes featuring seasonal local ingredients in a pop-up format, will be held.
The event will take place from 11:00 to 16:00 on Saturday, 28 November 2026, at Craft Circus, a seaside restaurant and market in Awaji City, Hyogo Prefecture. In addition to the participating chefs, a market selling local produce is also planned.
The participants and vendors include around 10 chefs, led by the executive chef of Kobe Portopia Hotel, as well as several restaurants and organisations. A diverse range of local ingredients, including mandarins, lemons, tomatoes, carrots, turnips and kale, is expected to be used.
