Korean skincare brand KOPHER has made its full-scale entry into the Japanese market. At a launch event, the company explained the refreshed Japan-focused lineup, the features of its new products and its plans for future expansion.
Korean skincare brand KOPHER held a brand presentation and new product launch event to mark its full-scale expansion into the Japanese market. Representatives responsible for the Japan business and the director of 4ever Dermatology Clinic took the stage to introduce the brand’s strategy for the Japanese market and skincare trends shaped by clinical knowledge from Korean aesthetic medicine.
To coincide with its entry into Japan, the brand refreshed its image and lineup, embarking on a new chapter as a “skin-management skincare” brand addressing skin concerns by generation. The event also drew attention to a new product following the CUREPAIR Mela Cream, which has surpassed cumulative sales of 25 million units.
The presentation covered the brand’s history and outlook, recent skincare trends and product features. The company emphasized product designs based on Korean clinical know-how, with low-irritation formulations informed by knowledge from medical practice. The GLOW series, focused on consumers in their 20s, made its debut in Japan, proposing layering care that can be customized according to the skin’s condition each day.
Melting Shot, a core product in the GLOW series, was highlighted for its powder-form serum, which melts into a cream on the skin. It was introduced for use with vitamin C powder when the skin has been exposed to the sun and with CICA powder when the skin is irritated.
The 4ever and HYNICAL series also launched in Japan. The 4ever series features carefully considered formulations designed to address specific skin concerns, while HYNICAL is designed to deliver moisture through to the stratum corneum. The company also announced plans to launch the high-performance Elrafix facial device in the second half of 2026.
The company emphasized a policy of “nurturing the skin through daily care without relying on excessive procedures,” with products reflecting medical knowledge and the views of clinicians at work in practice as the foundation.
The brand said it would continue developing products tailored to concerns among people in Japan with sensitive or dry skin, including concerns related to skin thinness and redness.
