Tohoku Bank raised its consolidated earnings forecast for April–September 2026, forecasting interim net income of ¥1.43 billion. This is expected to represent a 21% increase year on year.
The main factors behind the increase in the consolidated forecast were net interest income exceeding the initial forecast, while credit-related expenses and corporate taxes were expected to come in below forecast. Most of the revision was attributable to changes in the standalone forecast.
