JAPAN AI announced plans to begin using Microsoft Foundry and, in collaboration with Microsoft Japan, pursue Microsoft 365 integration and Marketplace deployment for its AI agents. The company will use the latest LLMs on Foundry to standardize an enterprise AI platform.
JAPAN AI Co., Ltd. announced that it will begin an initiative to use Microsoft Foundry, with support from Microsoft Japan, to expand the use of generative AI and AI agents by businesses. By using the LLMs available on Foundry, the company will create an environment that enables the optimal selection of models for different AI agent applications and standardize an enterprise platform using Azure. The aim is to promote the implementation of AI agents connected to companies’ data and business processes.
As a backdrop, the practical application of generative AI is moving beyond question generation and text creation toward AI agents that support the execution of actual business operations, making it essential to establish platforms that address security, governance and operating costs. JAPAN AI has been developing and providing agents tailored to the business needs of Japanese companies.
As its first step, the company will build an AI platform centered on Foundry, increasing flexibility in AI model selection while combining Microsoft’s cloud platform to strengthen security and governance capabilities for large enterprises. Going forward, JAPAN AI will accelerate efforts to bring its AI agents into business operations and consider deployment through integration with Microsoft Copilot and Marketplace.
