Against a backdrop of growing demand for ADAS products for the automotive market and increased investment in AI semiconductors and data centers, Japan Aviation Electronics Industry revised up its consolidated revenue forecast for the fiscal year ending March 2027 from ¥240 billion to ¥255 billion and its operating profit forecast from ¥9.5 billion to ¥10.5 billion. Cost pressures, including higher raw material prices and increased personnel expenses, are expected to continue. The company expects earnings growth from appropriate pricing, cost reductions and the recovery of development costs. Net profit was revised down from ¥6 billion to ¥5 billion, partly due to the impact of foreign exchange losses.
In results for the six months ended September announced the same day, revenue was ¥123.564 billion and operating profit was ¥3,279,000,000. Revenue increased year on year, while profit declined.
