TeamSpirit MCP now supports attendance requests and timesheet management. MCP is provided at no additional cost, but connecting AI services requires a separate contract and usage fees. Slack and Claude are among the integration examples cited.
TeamSpirit began offering “TeamSpirit MCP” on 8 October 2026 and announced a connectivity feature that enables attendance requests and timesheet management through AI agents. The AI agents can query attendance and timesheet data and support the processing of application procedures. TeamSpirit noted that MCP itself does not include a TeamSpirit AI model.
As conditions for using MCP, TeamSpirit explained that the service is available to subscribers of “TeamSpirit Attendance” or “TeamSpirit Timesheets.” While there is no additional charge for the MCP feature, a separate contract and usage fees are required for the AI service being connected. AI features on Slack and Claude were cited as examples of connected services, along with a mechanism that reflects work rules and notification settings.
Examples of using attendance requests and timesheet management include AI agents creating requests or drafts based on working and leave status, providing information when leave is cancelled, and preparing timesheet drafts. The handling of information presented to administrators, such as cancelled leave requests and alerts at the beginning of the month, varies depending on operational rules.
The presentation emphasised that the template function allows AI behaviour to be adjusted to each company’s work rules. Companies can configure items such as leave types, approval routes and the handling of notifications on overtime limits. Regarding future expansion, TeamSpirit indicated that connectivity could be extended to areas beyond attendance, including potential integration with expense claims, labour management and human resources data.
