GENETEC CORPORATION will demonstrate the latest 3D CAD/CAM system, Mastercam 2027, at JIMTOF2026 and introduce solutions supporting the process from 3D scanning through actual machining, using a reverse-engineering case study of a Kongorikishi statue. Group company Moarson Japan will also exhibit jointly.
GENETEC CORPORATION will exhibit at JIMTOF2026, held at Tokyo Big Sight, and will demonstrate the latest version of its 3D CAD/CAM system, Mastercam 2027, while introducing a range of solutions supporting the process from 3D scanning through actual machining. The booth is E2022 in East Hall 2, and the company will exhibit jointly with Moarson Japan.
The exhibition will feature hands-on demonstrations of Mastercam 2027, as well as 3D Drill-iCAD SX Hole Link, which automatically creates hole-machining operations in conjunction with 3D data. A 3D scan and machining process for a Kongorikishi statue will be presented as a reverse-engineering case study.
The reverse engineering of the Kongorikishi statue includes 3D scanning with HandySCAN EVO Elite™, sold by Moarson Japan, toolpath creation in Mastercam 2027, and machining with Tungaloy cutting tools and a FANUC ROBO DRILL. The source data is 3D data from Shizuoka.
A digital twin demonstration of a ROBO DRILL using NVIDIA Omniverse will also be held, with an exhibition allowing visitors to compare the actual machine with the virtual environment. Other tools for optimizing manufacturing operations, including FlexSim, will also be introduced, and visitors will be offered demonstrations and individual consultations.
