Rakuten Group announced that it had added a new feature to its programmatic advertising service “RMP - Unified Ads” for measuring purchase conversion rates at physical stores. The feature is available to companies using Rakuten Point Card, enabling them to check daily whether online advertising leads to purchases at physical stores.
The new feature allows advertisers to check purchase performance during the campaign period in the management interface, strengthen delivery to audience segments showing strong responses, and replace advertising creatives. In addition to adjusting budget allocations based on daily purchase performance, advertisers can also use Rakuten Points in ad formats and campaigns.
Measurement is limited to purchases made at physical stores using Rakuten Point Card for payment, and depending on the status of data updates, there may be a time lag in measurement.
“RMP - Unified Ads” is a programmatic display advertising service that delivers ads across Rakuten Group’s services and media, and its launch date is stated as 30 September.
