The Japanese equities research service yomitoka (ヨミトカ) has launched. It organizes information on the business activities, share price, news, financial results and IR disclosures of Japanese-listed companies by company, while enabling users to explore topics in depth through an AI chat and verify the sources of the public information.
Each company page provides an overview of the business, performance trends, financial and IR information, recent news and shareholder information in one place, along with links to the public information used as sources. It also includes a feature that presents the relationship between recent results announcements and timely disclosures.
Users can follow companies of interest, receive emails summarizing what to check on days when there is activity, and return to the company page or source materials to review the key points. The AI chat can answer questions such as what has changed since the previous update.
With regard to the handling of public information and AI, the service makes clear that AI organizes, summarizes and analyzes information, while links to the original materials are provided for important facts. It is not intended to make investment decisions on users’ behalf, but is provided as supplementary information to support understanding of companies.
