兵機海運 raised its full-year earnings forecast for the fiscal year ending March 2027 on the 30th. The expansion of its ocean-going business, including orders for spot projects bound for the Middle East, is expected to drive net sales and all profit measures above the initial forecast.
Under the revised outlook, net sales are projected at ¥16.50 billion, operating income at ¥530 million, ordinary income at ¥600 million and net income at ¥440 million. Compared with the previous forecast, net sales are expected to increase by approximately 13.8%, operating income by approximately 3.9%, ordinary income by approximately 11.1% and net income by approximately 10.0%. Earnings per share is projected at ¥366.74.
The expansion of business handled for the Middle East was cited as a factor driving performance this fiscal year, and developments in Middle East projects are expected to remain a focus. The geographic expansion of the ocean-going business is expected to contribute to earnings.
