ピーバンドットコム has completed API integration with ROHM COMPANY LIMITED’s ROHM Online Store and will launch a new service platform on GUGEN Hub that integrates manufacturer-direct purchasing of ROHM products with direct delivery of components to its warehouse and PCB assembly.
ピーバンドットコム announced that it had completed API integration between ROHM COMPANY LIMITED’s ROHM Online Store and its electronic manufacturing platform, GUGEN Hub. This will enable users to purchase ROHM products directly from the manufacturer through GUGEN Hub. While procurement has traditionally been conducted mainly through distributors, the integration adds a new direct-sales channel.
The key aspect of the integration is that components can be ordered directly from ROHM’s inventory when users search for and purchase ROHM products on GUGEN Hub. Purchased components will be shipped directly to and received at ピーバンドットコム’s warehouse, centralising inventory management. This is expected to expand procurement options for components used in prototype development and small-lot manufacturing.
The integration will reduce the administrative work involved in receiving, inspecting, storing and delivering components to assembly companies, creating a smooth end-to-end process through to P板.com’s PCB assembly service. The integration is described as part of efforts to strengthen the platform by consolidating component procurement, inventory management, PCB manufacturing and assembly on GUGEN Hub.
According to a comment from the company’s CEO, the ROHM integration adds manufacturer-direct purchasing to procurement through distributors as a new option. The company also indicated that component procurement sales are expected to increase 87.0% year on year in the first quarter of the fiscal year ending March 2027. Going forward, it plans to increase synergies, accelerate growth in its component procurement business and expand the impact of its PCB manufacturing and assembly services.
