松田産業 raised its consolidated earnings forecast for the fiscal year ending March 2027, attracting buying interest on demand related to precious-metal recycling. The stock reached ¥6,850, up ¥1,000 from the previous Friday's close and hitting the daily price limit.
松田産業, which operates a precious-metal recycling business, raised its consolidated earnings forecast for the fiscal year ending March 2027 after the previous trading session. The stock was consequently bid up by ¥1,000 from the previous Friday's close, rising to ¥6,850, around the daily price-limit level.
Under the new forecast, revenue was raised from ¥700 billion to ¥740 billion, while operating profit was raised from ¥24 billion to ¥28.5 billion. The upward revision reflected first-quarter handling volumes in the electronic-device sector of the precious-metals business exceeding expectations, as well as an improvement in the business's profit margins.
First-quarter results were revenue of ¥208.65 billion and operating profit of ¥10.315 billion, both showing substantial increases year on year. 松田産業 continues to focus primarily on precious-metal reuse, processing and refining.
