Agratio urban design Inc. outlined its growth strategy in an IR interview, centered on its fully integrated detached housing business and combined with asset solutions and lodging operations.
Agratio urban design Inc. is centered on a detached housing business that it handles entirely in-house, from land acquisition through design, construction, sales and after-sales service. It is developing homes with enhanced environmental performance, including ZEH specifications and properties equipped with storage batteries. In addition, it is expanding into new areas by combining its asset solutions business for investors with the Group’s lodging business.
Its growth strategy centers on the housing business, while the Company explores non-linear growth by strengthening its lodging operations and pursuing M&A. It has set revenue of ¥50 billion as the foundation of its medium-term plan and indicated that it aims to exceed ¥100 billion in the longer term, depending on synergies among its businesses.
In terms of its organisation and workforce, the Company plans to step up both new graduate and mid-career hiring, with an emphasis on on-the-job training. It indicated its intention to further refine the strength of its genuine one-stop model, in which operations are completed in-house, while maintaining and strengthening its system of handling design and construction internally.
In its message to investors, the Company stated that, while pursuing steady, sustainable growth grounded in its philosophy rather than spectacular expansion, it aims to enhance corporate value over the long term by leveraging its three pillars of residential, investment and lodging businesses.
