Chiba Prefecture has established “Mirai Career Port (Official Chiba Prefecture),” an SNS consultation service for young people concerned about their future careers and income, and has published information on seminars, including consultations and networking events via LINE.
The official Chiba Prefecture website states that Mirai Career Port provides consultation support from career coaches and financial planners. It also provides information on the operation of the service through SNS and seminars that include networking events designed to foster connections among young people with similar concerns.
The service is intended for working young people who live or work in the prefecture, up to their 30s. Users must add the LINE account as a friend, and information is also posted on seminars requiring advance reservations. Access to the service is provided through both LINE guidance and information on the official website.
The seminars include “How to Change Jobs Successfully and Manage Your Money” and “How to Find Your Own Way to Work Hard and Earn Recognition in Your Current Job Without Overdoing It.” Venues include Job Café Chiba and the Funabashi City Labor and Civic Center. Advance reservations are required for all events, and events that have already ended are also identified.
