Nihon Falcom raised its full-year forecast for the fiscal year ending September 2026 following the simultaneous global release of Trails the 2nd and strong sales of Trails the 1st. Revenue is expected to reach ¥4.3 billion and operating profit ¥2.8 billion, both record highs.
Nihon Falcom announced that it had raised its full-year earnings forecast for the fiscal year ending September 2026, with revenue increased 19.4% from the previous forecast to ¥4.3 billion, operating profit increased 27.2% to ¥2.8 billion, ordinary profit also set at ¥2.8 billion, and net income increased 26.6% to ¥1.9 billion. The company expects substantial growth compared with the previous fiscal year.
The upward revision was attributed to strong sales of major titles released recently, with sales growth for Trails the 2nd, which was released simultaneously worldwide, and Tokyo Xanadu -Ouka Genbu-, released in Japan and other Asian markets, making a contribution.
Global sales of Trails the 1st were also strong, and the company said that sales of major titles in Japan and overseas had led to the upward revision of its earnings forecast. Compared with the results for the fiscal year ended September 2025, the revised forecast calls for revenue to increase 64.6% and operating profit to increase 108.9%.
The company also raised its forecast in May for similar reasons, and this revision reflects the additional upside since then.
