The IC chip-based identity verification service “myVerifist” will support NFC card readers other than Incredist Premium for the first time. KAGA ELECTRONICS CO.,LTD. and FLIGHT SOLUTIONS Inc. are collaborating to promote the adoption of the devices ahead of tighter in-person identity verification requirements in April 2027.
FLIGHT SOLUTIONS Inc. announced that its IC chip-based identity verification service “myVerifist” will support NFC card readers for the first time. The supported devices will be NFC card readers procured and sold by KAGA ELECTRONICS CO.,LTD., while FLIGHT SOLUTIONS Inc. will provide the service and technical support.
Against a backdrop of growing demand for stronger security in both remote and in-person identity verification by financial institutions, operations based on reading IC chip information are being encouraged ahead of amendments to government regulations. In response, there is demand for lower implementation costs and shorter implementation periods.
The purpose of the collaboration is to make myVerifist available on devices other than the existing multi-payment terminal, “Incredist Premium,” allowing businesses to select terminals suited to their needs. By providing NFC card readers that connect to iPad via Bluetooth, KAGA ELECTRONICS CO.,LTD. will expand the available implementation options.
Going forward, the two companies will promote the adoption of myVerifist, advance the use of IC chip-based identity verification, and seek to prevent impersonation and create a secure transaction environment.
