As part of its outreach classes, Zoff visited Shizuka Elementary School in Otawara, Tochigi Prefecture, to provide students, parents and school staff with information on eye health, everyday digital-device use and UV protection, offering them an opportunity to consider eyesight care.
The Zoff Eyewear outreach class was held as a program for students to learn about the structure and health of the eyes amid the growing use of digital devices, with participants from Shizuka Elementary School, Nishihara Elementary School and Otawara Junior High School. The class centered on quizzes and topics related to eyesight, and the students participated actively.
The instructor explained current eyesight conditions and eye-health practices that can be adopted in daily life, and discussed measures to take when using digital devices for extended periods through practical activities, including demonstrations of eye-care exercises and videos. The high level of interest was evident in the final question-and-answer session, which included questions about improving eyesight and contact lenses.
