Cafe24 signed a memorandum of understanding on a business partnership with Tokyo-based 3WELL to strengthen promotional support for K brands in the Japanese market. The companies will combine influencer campaigns, social media advertising and affiliate marketing to support efforts ranging from raising awareness to acquiring customers.
Cafe24 announced on 16 October that it had signed a memorandum of understanding on a business partnership with 3WELL, which is headquartered in Tokyo. It will strengthen promotions tailored to the characteristics of K-brand products and their customer segments in the Japanese market, helping expand points of contact with Japanese consumers.
3WELL provides full-funnel services covering influencer marketing and social media advertising, from raising awareness to performance-based customer acquisition. It has collaborated with more than 600 companies to date and has built an influencer network of over 20,000 people.
Going forward, the two companies will work with local influencers based on the product characteristics, customer segments, marketing objectives and budgets of K brands using Cafe24. In addition to social media tie-up advertising promoting new product launches and discount campaigns, they will also use affiliate marketing aimed at converting interest into purchases, developing initiatives tailored to the circumstances of each brand.
Cafe24 CEO Lee Jae-seok (이재석) said that efforts to promote brands to local consumers are important for achieving results in the Japanese market. He commented that the company would expand cooperation with local specialist partners to support K brands in developing new customer touchpoints.
