Shinei Technology has launched sales of the new AES-CHM particle sensing monitor, compatible with ISO Class 5. It can simultaneously measure particles of 0.3μm and above, expanding monitoring capabilities in clean environments.
Shinei Technology has developed and launched sales of the AES-CHM as an advanced model based on its existing model. The AES-CHM is compatible with ISO Class 5 (Class 100) and is said to be capable of simultaneously measuring particles in three size ranges: 0.3μm, 0.5μm and 5μm.
In addition to the existing measurement of particles of 0.5μm and 5μm or larger, the new model adds measurement of airborne particles of 0.3μm. Its distinguishing feature is that it enables air cleanliness management and contamination control with a single unit. It also has a built-in data logger, allowing data to be stored on the device, and can operate for approximately 12 hours when powered by a mobile battery.
Product specifications include external dimensions of 135×105×69.1mm, a measurement range of ISO14644-1:2015 Class 5–7, output in pcs/m³ and other formats, an operating temperature of 0°C–35°C, and a storage temperature of -20°C–50°C.
