The second GLOBAL MEET, a joint company information session connecting foreign job seekers seeking employment in Japan with Japanese companies, will be held at Tradepia Odaiba from 12:00 to 17:00 on Friday, 23 October 2026. Registration begins at 11:30. The event is hosted by SKILL BATON Co., Ltd., and admission is free.
The event provides an opportunity to directly assess candidates’ potential beyond what can be determined from résumés and interviews alone, while giving companies an opportunity to promote their businesses and recruitment information. Strengthening support systems covering the education and retention of foreign talent is also highlighted as a feature of the event.
The main programs scheduled for the day are company presentations, booth networking, matching and open networking, and a session on systems for employing foreign nationals. Three key features are identified: directly assessing candidates’ potential, recruitment plus corporate PR plus business matching, and support extending through education and retention.
