Ofiniti has decided to acquire ZeroNorth’s electronic bunker delivery note business, which will change from ZeroNorth to Singapore-based BTS Pte Ltd. The transaction will accelerate Ofiniti’s consolidation in the digital bunkering sector and will be its 3rd acquisition.
Ofiniti has agreed to acquire ZeroNorth’s electronic bunker delivery note business. The assets include eBDN technology, the customer base and related licenses, and will change from ZeroNorth to Singapore-based BTS Pte Ltd.
This will be Ofiniti’s 3rd acquisition since separating from DNV in September 2024. It previously acquired Angsana Technology and Teqplay.
Ofiniti serves more than 200 customers worldwide and processes more than 50,000 bunker operations. It is reportedly estimated to hold approximately 40% of Singapore’s digital bunkering market.
CEO Tue Raguse said the company intends to eliminate fragmentation in the industry’s systems, data and operating practices, linking fuel supply, demand and infrastructure on a single platform. ZeroNorth, meanwhile, said the sale would allow it to focus its bunkering activities on procurement, pricing and planning.
