FreeiD, a face-recognition ID platform developed and provided by Migaro Holdings subsidiary DXYZ, was implemented for the first time at “Lugent Shinjuku,” a development project by Tokyu Livable. The implementation covers face recognition for doors in common areas and is intended to support future expansion.
Migaro Holdings announced on 2 November 2026 that FreeiD, a face-recognition ID platform provided by its subsidiary DXYZ, had been implemented at “Lugent Shinjuku,” a development project by Tokyu Livable in Shinjuku. It is Tokyu Livable’s first property to implement FreeiD.
“Lugent Shinjuku” is located in Shinjuku 4-chome, Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo, and FreeiD will be implemented for doors in the common areas. Construction is scheduled for completion in late October 2026, with handover and the start of occupancy scheduled for late March 2027. The system will cover doors in common areas, including entrances, elevators and parcel lockers.
FreeiD is an ID platform that integrates keys, payments and identity verification through facial recognition. Its “FreeiD Mansion” solution for multi-unit residential properties provides an all-facial-recognition experience. As of the end of October 2026, the number of buildings with the system implemented had reached 480.
Migaro Holdings said it will continue working with DXYZ to provide smart-city solutions using FreeiD, aiming to create new businesses that accelerate the convergence of the physical and digital worlds.
