Aplus Career will hold a free experiential seminar and networking event in Tokyo at the Shin-Tokyo Building from 16:00 on 16 October 2026. The head of general affairs and human resources at Nippon BS Broadcasting will discuss what goes unsaid in the workplace and real-world experiences in occupational health.
What practitioners on the front lines want to know is not idealized case studies, but situations involving difficult real-world decisions and challenging conversations. The event will provide a practical explanation of the phenomenon in which unspoken issues at work lead to more employees consulting occupational physicians directly, as well as the difficulties this creates for human resources departments.
The guest will be Yonezawa Uryu (米澤 宇隆), head of general affairs and human resources at Nippon BS Broadcasting Corporation, who will discuss difficult cases encountered during interviews and approaches to viewing situations objectively without being swayed by emotion. The facilitator will be Kubo Sayaka (久保 さやか), who will share the practical, on-the-ground experience.
As part of “Apo Cafe,” the event will take the form of an experiential seminar and networking session focused on dialogue and building connections, with the aim of providing candid perspectives on occupational health. Sponsor ベラズカップケーキ社 will provide original cupcakes and welcome drinks.
The venue is the Meet-up Space on the 4th floor of the Shin-Tokyo Building. Doors open at 15:30, Part 1 runs from 16:00 to 17:30, and Part 2, the networking session, runs from 17:30 to 18:30. Admission is free, capacity is 37 people, and registration details are available in the latest news on the official website.
