センコー商事 announced that it had entered into a sales license agreement for Hyperion’s next-generation passwordless authentication service PassProof and would begin sales and implementation proposals leveraging customer touchpoints across SENKO Group companies.
As part of efforts to propose next-generation technologies to the logistics and distribution industries, センコー商事, a subsidiary of SENKO Group Holdings, announced that it had entered into a sales license agreement for PassProof, provided by Hyperion, an electronic payment services company, and would begin sales and implementation proposals for companies, local governments and other entities.
PassProof is an authentication technology that does not use passwords. It employs two-factor, two-channel authentication combining a telephone number with device information, and uses the internet and telephone networks to authenticate users while confirming the relationship between the individual and the device. The technology is intended to reduce risks such as phishing and impersonation.
Target areas include e-commerce and membership services, internal corporate systems, logistics- and manufacturing-related systems, and local government and public services. センコー商事 plans to promote sales and implementation proposals by leveraging its customer touchpoints and proposal capabilities.
