In die systems, it is expanding the supply of dies equipped with the FASTEC system, while in machine-tool measurement systems, it provides equipment combining advanced machining and measurement technologies.
To meet growing demand for dies, the company has announced plans to increase die production capacity 2.5-fold by 2026, based at the Nagano Plant. It aims to introduce new manufacturing methods and improve the productivity of large dies, and is also working to raise productivity by applying hydraulic and pneumatic technologies. In its overseas expansion, the company is increasing project acquisitions in markets including China and South Korea, responding to supply and demand for motor-core dies for EVs.
The machine-tool measurement systems business aims to grow through the development of new solutions and overseas expansion. Identifying its low overseas sales ratio as a challenge, the company has established an overseas sales department to expand its sales network. It is strengthening proposals for integrated solutions tailored to the needs of customers in Japan and overseas.
The company intends to maintain and strengthen a structure in which nearly 90% of sales are generated overseas by expanding overseas markets and strengthening in-house production. It is leveraging its position in advanced industries such as EVs, semiconductors, and medical systems, and has stated its aim of becoming a global niche leader.
