Starbucks Corporation and Suntory Beverage & Food will begin the phased nationwide rollout of Japan's first vending machines dedicated exclusively to Starbucks products from mid-September. Through the introduction of these dedicated vending machines, the companies aim to expand opportunities for consumers to experience the brand in their daily lives.
The four products to be sold through the vending machines will be Starbucks COFFEE SIGNATURES BLACK (380g can, ¥200), Starbucks MY RETREAT Caramel Macchiato (suitable for both hot and cold consumption, 280ml PET bottle, ¥240), Starbucks MY COFFEE TIME Black (185g can, ¥155), and Starbucks MY COFFEE TIME Café Latte (185g can, ¥155).
The vending machines will be designed primarily in the brand colors of green and black, with a large Siren logo on the side. The front will feature the message “Starbucks, anytime, anywhere, with ease” alongside photos depicting drinking occasions.
In addition, Starbucks COFFEE SIGNATURES ESPRESSO&MILK will be launched on 15 September, although it will not be among the products sold through the vending machines. Future sales are planned to include Starbucks MY COFFEE TIME Black and the same line's Café Latte, which are scheduled for launch in November 2025.
