Unauthorized access confirmed at 八十二長野銀行, potentially exposing balance information and other data for 627 business partners, as well as personal information on 34 people, including employees of business partners; no reports of damage from unauthorized use [Nagano]

八十二長野銀行 disclosed that a staff member's email account had been accessed without authorization by a third party on 7 October, potentially resulting in the leakage of email addresses and other information relating to employees of business partners.

The investigation found that information relating to 627 business partners, including their balance information and overseas office names, may have been leaked. Personal information, including the names and telephone numbers of 34 employees of business partners, may also have been leaked.

The bank said that no damage from misuse has been reported to date.
