E-Logit will overhaul its WMS, which has become increasingly complex after years of additional feature development, with the aim of strengthening security and improving logistics efficiency. Migration will be carried out through outsourced development, while integration with billing-related systems will also be strengthened. The company is also considering planning AI-powered services in the future.
E-Logit announced on the 6th that it plans to overhaul its WMS and will invest ¥75 million before tax. The project aims to review the platform, which has become increasingly complex after years of additional feature development, strengthen information security, improve logistics efficiency and reduce administrative work through integration with billing-related systems.
Development of the new system has been outsourced to ナピル (Chuo-ku, Tokyo), which will provide consistent support ranging from integration with external systems to post-implementation improvements. The current system faces challenges in stable operation and security measures because of the impact of additional feature development, and the company aims to centrally manage operations through the migration.
The contract is scheduled for November 2026, with acquisition scheduled for March 2027. Payments will comprise ¥25 million at the time of contracting, followed by ¥30 million and ¥20 million after acceptance is completed at the end of January 2027 and the end of March 2027, respectively. The company also plans to plan and develop AI-powered services in the future.
