Sanritsu expects full-year revenue and profit growth after launching its new Narita warehouse as it strengthens its packaging-centered logistics business. The company is expanding its handling of large precision equipment and moving toward a 4PL model.
Sanritsu provides logistics services centered on packaging and is particularly strengthening its handling of large precision equipment, medical equipment and machine tools. This is increasing the proportion of these products in its revenue mix, while the company provides one-stop services centered on its domestic sites, using bonded warehouses.
For the current fiscal year, Sanritsu expects revenue of ¥22.0 billion, operating profit of ¥1.35 billion and an operating margin of 6.1%, resulting in higher revenue and profit, driven by the effects of the new Narita warehouse beginning operations and increased handling of large equipment. By region, domestic revenue of approximately ¥20.2 billion and US revenue of approximately ¥1.8 billion are projected.
Under its medium-term management plan, the company targets consolidated revenue of ¥23.5 billion, operating profit of ¥1.6 billion and an operating margin of 6.8% for the fiscal year ending March 2029. It plans to increase the proportion of large precision equipment handled and expand high-value-added services originating from its warehouses.
The new warehouse in Narita has approximately 26,400 sq. m. of total floor area and was designed primarily for large equipment. It aims to improve safety and operational efficiency, with approximately 400 sq. m. of refrigerated and frozen storage facilities and table lifters. The company is strengthening its strategy of providing integrated services from warehousing through international transportation and customs clearance.
