Infleqtion has supplied the QPU for a neutral-atom full-stack quantum system to a Japanese research team as part of Japan’s Quantum Moonshot Program. The system, named Harumi, is also scheduled to be opened to external users from academia and industry.
In the next phase, the research team of the Moonshot Project led by Professor Omori Kenji (大森 賢治) will focus on system integration and improving scalability and stability. Initial operation will begin with approximately 50 qubits, with the system to be expanded toward a scale of around 500 qubits.
