Current president Yoshihiro Ogawa (小川吉宏) is scheduled to retire from the position on 30 November. The company announced that this will be the first change at the top in 4 years and 8 months.
As reasons for appointing the new president, the company cited its desire to achieve further growth under new leadership, given its current growth trajectory, and indicated that its new medium-term management plan starting in 2027 will also be pursued under the new president.
After joining Sumitomo Corporation, Naoko Deura (出浦直子) worked in divisions related to the living industries before overseeing the Web Business Planning Department. After being seconded to Jupiter Shop Channel, she became head of the Media Commerce Unit in 2024 and Executive Officer and head of the Corporate Planning Division in 2026. Born in 1981, she graduated from the Faculty of Law at Keio University and earned an MBA from Stanford University.
