Against a backdrop of continued gains in the Nikkei Stock Average, TORIDOLL Holdings Corporation released its first-quarter results for the fiscal year ending March 2027, covering April to June 2026. Revenue rose 3.5% year on year to ¥72.318 billion, while operating profit fell 34.3% to ¥5.294 billion, with quarterly sales reaching a record high. In the stock market, the shares rose as high as ¥4,436 during the morning session before plunging to ¥4,145 immediately after the results were announced.
According to the earnings presentation, despite the increase in revenue, higher personnel and other costs contributed to the decline in operating profit, with the rate of decline in operating profit exceeding the rate of decline in sales. Factors cited included gains on lease cancellations for closed stores, losses on the disposal of fixed assets and restructuring costs booked in connection with the business restructuring of overseas subsidiaries.
The full-year outlook remains unchanged at revenue of ¥287.0 billion, operating profit of ¥17.0 billion and net profit of ¥7.0 billion. Progress toward the full-year targets is currently estimated at approximately 25.2% for revenue, 31.1% for operating profit and 43.3% for net profit. The annual dividend forecast also remains unchanged at ¥12 per share. The shares closed at ¥4,203, down ¥96 from the previous day.
As activity in port-related and AI and semiconductor stocks began to subside, the company reaffirmed its policy of pursuing both sales growth and a return to profit growth while advancing cost management and structural reforms.
