HoYoverse announced its new dark fantasy action title 『Nodusfall』 at gamescom Opening Night Live 2026. The game's world and combat system were introduced on its official website and during the broadcast, while its release timing remains undecided.
At gamescom Opening Night Live 2026, which aired on 26 August Japan time, HoYoverse announced the brand-new title 『Nodusfall』. The game was introduced as an action RPG set in a dark fantasy world, in which players wield weapons to battle dragons.
The footage released showed combat in a ruined world, with players evading enemy attacks as they fought. The official website, X account and YouTube channel were also launched at the same time. According to the setting described on the official website, players take on the mission of confronting beings spoken of in mythology as “Weavers.”
The presentation also introduced a new battle system in which players form parties with allies, customize their combat styles and skills, and coordinate their attacks, as well as rewards such as unlocking skills and weapons when enemies are defeated.
『Nodusfall』is currently in development, and details including its release timing and supported platforms remain undisclosed.
