Dai Nippon Printing Co., Ltd. (DNP), a collaboration partner in Tokyo Green Biz, an initiative promoted by the Tokyo Metropolitan Government, has opened a special lounge featuring greenery at its Ichigaya office. The lounge will be open from 14 to 16 October 2026, with a green space set up in a shared area for employees.
The new lounge includes greenery-themed interior furnishings, a space surrounded by greenery where employees can take short naps, and a space where they can leave their smartphones and enjoy fragrances and tactile experiences. The lounge is intended to provide users with an opportunity to rest.
Through Tokyo Green Biz and the lounge initiative, the Tokyo Metropolitan Government aims to create a sustainable city in harmony with nature and is working with companies to promote the use of greenery. Participating companies plan to conduct user surveys and assess the benefits of rest.
DNP is creating and developing the green space known as Ichigaya no Mori. By creating an environment where employees can view greenery from the Ichigaya office, DNP seeks to enhance workplace well-being. The lounge provides an opportunity to incorporate greenery into everyday living spaces.
