T.KAWABE & CO.,LTD., a fashion accessories manufacturer, will launch socks as a new item from its brand “Katokoa mamoru.” The socks will be available in 10 styles, each priced at ¥2,200 including tax, and will come in sizes 23–25 cm.
The socks feature original designs inspired by endangered wildlife native to Japan. The brushed inner lining is designed to retain warmth, and the socks are presented as an accent piece for everyday outfits.
The launch is scheduled to begin on a rolling basis from mid-September 2026. They will be available in the handkerchief sections of selected department and specialty store locations, through the T.KAWABE & CO.,LTD. online shop, and at T.KAWABE & CO.,LTD. directly operated stores. A portion of sales is scheduled to be donated to the Wildlife Conservation Fund of the Japanese Association of Zoos and Aquariums, a public interest incorporated association.
T.KAWABE & CO.,LTD., which is responsible for the planning, design, and manufacture, says the socks are characterized by distinctive colors and designs and are also suitable as gifts.
